California codes we design to

Electrical design in California is governed by the California Electrical Code (Title 24, Part 3),
which adopts the National Electrical Code with state amendments. Lighting and lighting control
design must also satisfy the California Energy Code (Title 24, Part 6), which sets mandatory
control, daylighting and power-density requirements for most non-residential projects. We design
to these from the outset rather than treating compliance as a document produced at the end.

Licensed and experienced

Our electrical practice is led by Shane M. Foster, a registered electrical engineer in California
(License No. E-21308) with more than 30 years in electrical design and construction. He is an
I.C.B.O. Certified Electrical Inspector and a member of the National Fire Protection Association.
His project experience includes hospitals, airport runway lighting vault upgrades and code review
work.
